During the 2021-2022 school year, Hermleigh ISD and other schools were fortunate to receive a waiver from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), allowing the district to extend our no-cost meals to all students through the end of this past school year. Unfortunately, this waiver will no longer be available for the 2022-2023 school year, and the district will return to charging for school meals for the 2022-2023 school year.

Due to the change, the free and reduced meal application form is critical for the 22-23 school year and we ask that everyone who has a student attending Hermleigh ISD to please fill one out. Even if you do not think you will qualify, please complete and return it anyway in case eligibility adjustments are made. You may pick up the application at time of registration.
