Notice of Special Board Meeting
Notice is hereby given of a Special Board Meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the Hermleigh Independent School District to be held on the 28th
day of August, 2007, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Board Room,
The subjects to be discussed or considered are listed on the following
agenda. The Board President may change
the order of the agenda items.
1. Call to Order and Establish Quorum
2. Public Hearing to Discuss Budget and Proposed
Tax Rate for the 2007-2008 School Year
3. Action
Items
a. Approval of Budget Amendments for the
2006-2007 School Year
b. Approval Proposed Budget for the 2007-2008
School Year
c. Approval
of request by Scurry County Wind LP for an extension on the application for
appraised value limitation
d. Adoption
of an Ordinance determining the amount of ad valorem taxes necessary for the
Support and Maintenance and Operation of the Hermleigh Independent School
District for Fiscal Year Commencing on September 1, 2007 and ending on August
31, 2008.
4. Adjournment
If, during the course of this meeting, discussion of any item on the
agenda should be held in a closed meeting, the Board will conduct the closed
meeting in accordance with The Texas Open Meetings Act, Government Code Chapter
551, et seq. All final votes, actions,
or decisions will be taken in the open meeting.
